Permanon Platinum, Silver, and Gold...OH MY!!

CUSTOMER QUESTION:

I have been using Permanon Yacht Supershine on my boat, primarily for the fiberglass gel coat surfaces, and I'm happy with it. I like this product a lot. I see now there is something called Permanon Gold, is this replacing Yacht Supershine? Is it different or preferred?

OUR RESPONSE:

Permanon Yacht Supershine is the product you want to continue to use for your boat. Permanon Yacht is specifically designed to provide the most protection for the environmental conditions of freshwater and sea faring vessels.

So let's clear up any confusion about the two new product names (Silver and Gold). Due to trademark laws, the term "Platinum" in the Permanon line of products had to be retired. It's exact replacement is Permanon PSI+14 Silver. No recipe change, only a new name. Permanon Silver (formerly known as Platinum) is an all-in-one product that is designed to provide effective, long lasting protection on ANY hard surface. It's used universally on all land, air, or water based platforms. While you could certainly use Silver on your boat, Permanon Yacht costs less and provides a more tailored formula to offer better protection for boats.

Which brings us to Permanon PSI+14 Gold. The German inventors of Permanon are always looking for ways to improve their products. Permanon Gold is the most recent break through. It's almost identical to the Permanon Silver formula, however the manufacturer was able to achieve a 6% gloss enhancement with some added endurance. Not exactly ground breaking, but certainly enough to provide another offering for those looking for the added enhancement.
